My New Book Is Here: Once We Were Forever
I've been sitting on this for a while, not really knowing how to bring it up. So I'll just say it: I wrote a book.
It's called Once We Were Forever. It's a collection of poems about a relationship that didn't make it, and everything that comes after the ending — the parts nobody really warns you about.
Someone asked me once, "Do you regret it?" I didn't have an answer then. I think this book is my answer now.
There's a lot of regret in these pages. Not the loud kind. The quiet kind that turns up at 2am, or in a song you weren't expecting, or in a name you still can't quite say without pausing first.
If you've ever loved someone and lost them — not to anything dramatic, just to time, or distance, or the wrong moment — I think you'll find yourself somewhere in these poems.
